'Blessed Christina'
Ghost Of Thunder Road X Velvet Ribbons B

A pure deep red with darker eye out of Ghost Of Thunder Road. It has gently ruffled petals and super thin gold wire edge; lemon/lime starburst throat radiating out onto the tepals. This flower has elegant movement, rolling and twisting.

Named after Blessed Christina of Stommeln, who at age five had started to have religous visions. She was the first woman documented to have stigmata in the 1200's at the age of 15 and was beatified by the Catholic Church on November 8, 1908.
